Ama's Momento is a mixed reality museum dedicated to Taiwanese grandmother, Yoko Kung, who dreams of building an art museum to preserve Taiwanese culture. Winner of Indie Cade 2019's Location-Based & Live Play Award and Finalist for VR For Change 2019, I am solo remaking this experience for modern headsets using Meta's presence platform for a physical museum installation in Taiwan Spring 2024.

Centering around photographer Reagan Louie’s trips to his ancestral home of Wing Wor, this game tells a multigenerational story of immigration, search for identity, and meaning of family. The project was initially started as a USC MFA thesis project by Ralston Louie, whose life was tragically cut short and taken forward by his friends at AmaVR and family. I served as the lead technical artist/designer designing levels, art, and scripting interactions. Nominated for Games for Change 2023 Best Student Game award.

Creating original art, animations, performances, and scripting various mechanics and 3 unique minigames within an example level to get the targeted feel of the final experience.
